Integrity Policy

We take security and confidentiality of your information very seriously. Information that you provide to Daar Advokatbyrå (“DAAB”) through or in connection with this site, including the results of forms completed by you or emails sent through links contained on this site, may be used to communicate with you about the services offered by us. If you have any questions or concerns about any personal data that you have provided through this web site, then you are invited to send an email to info@daarlegal.se . Subject to the following paragraph, your information will not be shared with any other person without your prior consent.

DAAB owes duties of confidentiality to its own clients. If DAAB has not yet agreed to act for you, then DAAB will not be subject to such an obligation unless it agrees otherwise with you in writing or if such a duty is imposed by applicable law. If you choose to communicate with DAAB by email or through this web site about matters which you require to be kept in confidence, then please contact DAAB to confirm whether such a commitment can be given and to discuss more secure methods of communication. DAAB uses common information security tools, such as PGP, for secure encrypted communication. 

DAAB as a controller of Personal Data

When DAAB collects personal data from its employees or directly from private persons, DAAB is the controller of processing the personal data. 

Processing Personal Data

Personal data that DAAB processes about you is especially personal data provided by you. Categories of personal data that DAAB processes a controller is name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. As an employer DAAB processes further categories of personal data. Under certain circumstances DAAB may process such personal data related to specific processing situations as are noted under article 9 in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

DAAB only processes personal data if any of the following legal grounds exist:

  • The data subject has consented to have its personal data processed for one or more specific purposes.
  • The processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill duties of an agreement where the data subject is a party or to take actions upon request by the data subject prior to such an agreement is concluded.
  • The processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal duty that DAAB has, or
  • The processing is necessary for purposes of DAAB’s or a third party’s justified interests, if the data subject’s interests or fundamental rights and freedoms is stronger and requires protection of personal data, especially when the data subject is a child.

You do not have to provide DAAB with your personal data, but if you do not DAAB cannot conclude an agreement with you and cannot deliver the services you purchase.

For the event DAAB contracts a personal data processor to process personal data on behalf of DAAB a personal data processing agreement will be concluded between DAAB and such a personal data processor. The personal data processing agreement regulates what rights and duties DAAB and the personal data processor have when the personal data processor processes personal data on behalf of DAAB to keep security and confidentiality of the personal data at level not lesser than if DAAB itself processes the personal data.

DAAB does not transfer any personal data to countries outside of the EU/EEC area.

Area of use

DAAB collects personal data to administrate its business, fulfill duties to its clients and to communicate, for business and marketing purposes, with clients, counterparties’ legal counsels, counterparties, suppliers and employees.

DAAB does not sell any personal data to anyone and does not transfer personal data to any unauthorized. DAAB may, however, transfer personal data to suppliers of DAAB which DAAB has concluded a personal data processing agreement with (e.g. IT-supplier, credit information institutions, debt collection companies and courier services and authorities).

For how long do we keep your personal data?

DAAB has internal routines to secure that personal data not needed any longer is processed and erased.

Your rights

As a data subject you have the right to information, right to access, right to rectification, right to erasure (right to be forgotten), right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object against processing. To use those rights please contact us at info@daarlegal.se 

You have the right to receive once a year a free of charge extract from our registry of the personal data that DAAB processes about you. Your request shall be sent to info@daarlegal.se 

Information security

It is of great importance that DAAB keeps a high level of information security to process information and personal data in accordance with laws, regulations and agreements and in accordance with DAAB’s internal rules, regulations and routines.

Everyone who processes information within DAAB has a duty to maintain information security. If a coworker discovers that information security in any way is jeopardized such discovery shall be reported immediately.

DAAB’s processing of personal data as a processor

For the event DAAB processes personal data as a personal data processor, a personal data processing agreement has been concluded with the personal data controller. DAAB will process the personal data in accordance with that personal data processing agreement. For the event DAAB contracts a sub-supplier a personal data processing agreement will be concluded with the sub-supplier. Such agreement will put the same duties on the processor of personal data as DAAB has regarding processing of personal data. The sub-supplier must be approved by the controller of personal data.

Complaints and contact

We do of course hope that you will not have any reasons to complain at our personal data processing. However, should you anyway experience that something is wrong with our processing of your personal data, please, do not hesitate to contact us with your complaint.

Changes of the integrity policy

At its sole discretion DAAB retains the right to perform changes in the integrity policy.  You will be informed about such changes by e-mail and at our web sites in due time prior to such changes.

This integrity policy is valid from January 1, 2019.
